Okay...I spent most of my life wanting to visit WDW. We live in California so convincing the Powers-That-Be--first my mother, then later my husband, that we should spend "all that money" on airfare to Orlando when we have "Disneyland practically in our own backyard" was no easy task. It finally came down to my declaring, "I'm tired of *wanting* to go to Disney World, we're going." Turns out that when you're a grown-up and have a job you can do that!
So, on Christmas Day 2003 I found myself in EPCOT watching the Candlelight Processional with my husband and our children; Wesley, who was 11, Nicholas, who was 10, and Rachael, who was 6.
And the very best part of all; on our first full day at WDW my husband said, "let's come back next year." And that's exactly what we did!
Life was perfect.
